While Gary and Mark were traveling to Pennsylvania, Pam and the dogs traveled to Oregon to see the log home that Doug and Bev Youngberg had been building. There are still a few things to do but the house looks beautiful!
The camp at Doug and Bev's was full. Beside these three rigs there were 3 more on the other side of the house. Had we brought our RV there would have been no room left!
On the way back to Dayton the dogs and I stopped at what I thought would be a dip in the lake. Wrong. It was a romp in the mud! The dogs had a great time, but you should have seen the back of the truck! It was a long ride home, but we made it.
Our stop at the "mud" pit was actually on the CA-OR border at an Oregon State Park. I think the lake was called "Goose Lake" and there is a campground here as well.
Well, I think I have caught up on some of our activities the past month. We will be going on our Tahoe Valley campout the 23rd of July and then to Pam's 40th reunion the weekend after that. Other plans include a week at Bridgeport, CA with a FMCA club that we are checking out, helping Heather and Jason for a few days the end of August and of course a few doctor/dentist appointments.
