July 4th 2012

Phase 10 Twist and Mexican Train Dominoes were two of the popular games at our camp.

The girls had bicycled to the boat ramp/marina and found some chipmunks that wanted to share their peanuts!

Our dinners were all planned ahead of time so we only needed to bring our portions to the "food tent" and there was plenty of good vittles to go around.

I think having lots of kids kept everyone entertained.  They always seemed to be in different groups and I didn't really hear any of them say they were bored!

Five guys and a Ford Truck.  No other explanation needed!

Wednesday afternoon we had two ladder golf tournaments.  The kids all competed in one group and the adults in another.  Isaac was the youth champion and Bryan was the adult winner.  Then the two winners played each other and ........Isaac was the overall winner.

This was NOT the way the golf balls were generally thrown!

Ahren managed to have her golf balls land in the tree - not a normal way to play, either!

After dinner we watched the "Independence Day" movie - a tradition in our household each 4th of July!!!
