Mackenzie Graduates!!!

It may have been cold and windy but it was nice to have a day to celebrate.

Mackenzie was waiting for all the graduates to file in to the stadium.

At the end of the ceremony the grads tossed their hats into the air ...

After the ceremony you could see the feeling of accomplishment when Kenzie was able to hold Malia.

Jeff and Besso presented Mackenzie with a balloon bouquet.

Of course, you know who was fascinated with the balloons!

 

The cake was decorated beautifully ...

Connor, Daniel (Malia's Daddy), Mackenzie & Patrick were all celebrating their graduation day together.

Jeff & Jen were getting ready to head out so we got a quick snapshot of them with Heather.

The weather did not seem too favorable but we got a campfire started to help keep everyone warm.

I don't have too many pictures of Daniel so I took advantage of the day.

Malia wanted to make sure her Mommy didn't get hurt coming down the slide.

I know kids usually like putting olives on their fingers but this is the first time I've seen the trick using raspberries!  Ahren looks like she wouldn't mind eating a few, either.

We are proud of Mackenzie for all that she has accomplished and hope that she remains as dedicated in college as she was in high school.  She has a wonderful little girl and her future looks bright.

Those of you who are waiting for an update on Lynn will need to wait until tomorrow.  I will be back in Nevada in the afternoon and will take my parents to Reno so we can see her.  I know that Lynn would have loved to be here for Mackenzie's graduation and be part of the celebration - and believe me, we were all thinking of her.
