Patience is something to learn

Lynn loves to laugh.  She and Besso (our granddaughter) were having a good time at one of our family gatherings in Long Beach.

Today was a day in which we were reminded again how much patience we need while we think and pray for Lynn.  Last night and this morning was rough for her as her pressures did not remain where we want them.  Because of this the doctors have decided to keep her in the comatose state longer and have given some of the medicine she had previously to bring down the pressure, which it did.  We were not even allowed to touch her today as no stimulation was allowed.  That is really hard on everyone.  Mom and Dad brought some pictures to add to her wall ... she now has the group family picture we took a week ago (I put in on an earlier blog), a picture of Lynn and her son, Ryan, a picture of Mom and Dad, a picture of Lynn and her best friend, Judy, and a picture of Lynn that was taken on her last birthday.  We hope the pictures will help bring the love we all share to her and also let the nurses and doctors know how much she is loved.  We have added a card that was sent to her wall and will add more as they come in.
I feel really blessed that Lynn came to live with us this last year.  We have had a lot of fun and laughs and have had time to really get to know each other.  Time is precious.  Love your family and don't let stupid little things keep you from spending time together.
Thank you to everyone who is asking about Lynn and supporting us as we travel this road.
