Unfortunately, I did not take much in the way of pictures today - we spent the day in camp just visiting.
Today started off with a potluck breakfast. We had eggs, pancakes, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, juice & hot cocoa. If anyone was hungry it was their own fault! Jen, Jeff & Besso came right at the end of breakfast. Besso immediately joined her cousins and we didn't see much of her the rest of the day! After visiting with Jen & Jeff for awhile they went into the park for the afternoon. Jeff had never been to Yosemite and he was amazed at the sights.
We had another potluck for dinner and also celebrated Hannah's birthday with cake & ice cream. Jen & Jeff came back just in time to say goodbye to Heather. She took off at 7 pm to take the boys back to Placerville as they had Boy Scout Camp beginning tomorrow. Mackenzie, Malia and Besso went with her as well. Besso will stay in Placerville until Friday or Saturday and return home with her Uncle Nestor next weekend.
Bryan & Tammy, Jason & Heather, Doug & Bev and Ron & Leslie (and us, too) started to talk about a 17 day trip next June to see Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone & Jackson Hole, and Mt. Rushmore. We figure about 12 days to travel and spend time at the sights and the other 5 days for getting home, whichever way people wanted to go! We'll talk about it more, but at least have a few ideas. Since 3 of the 5 families still work we need to tailor it to only taking two weeks off work. I think it is do-able.
We are leaving at 5 am tomorrow morning - traveling all the way to Sprague River, OR - 500 miles, 12 hours. Better go to bed.
