The last week has been full of little things. It has been low key so that Gary could do his recuperation from the appendix surgery. We still got a lot accomplished in spite of that!
Weeds and Aspen 'sprouts' had grown about 4 feet while we were on our trip so I did spend some time in the yard getting rid of the worst offenders. It will still take quite a bit of work to get it all under control, but at least it is starting to look like we care!
Cars and trucks have been cleaned up and look a little better, too! We did get the motor home in to have the water heater system replaced, again, and it did get washed by Gary yesterday morning. While it was being repaired however, it suffered an accident and has it's own gash in the rear bumper. We will take care of that when we return from Oregon.
Visiting Teaching and Home Teaching was done yesterday. It was nice to see our families and get an update on them. I went to lunch with Gail and her daughter Katrina and we had a nice time. Gary had a new family to teach and we went together to meet them.
I am not going to list all the other things we did this week - everyone has their share of chores.
Today we are going back to see Gary's surgeon to get him checked out. After that we are heading out on our next adventure! We will go to Hope Valley with our Copper Hills Sams group for a few days before we go to Oregon. We will be dry camping in Hope Valley and not have cell phone or internet reception but will be in Oregon by Sunday evening and hope to share pictures and tales at that time. Next Monday we have an appointment in Klamath Falls to make our property transactions finalized so we are excited about that.
Enough chit chat for now. I have to get a move on as we haven't packed the RV yet! I hope everyone has a great week - send us an email or a comment on this site to let us know what YOU are up to!
