Our sleep last night was great! We went in to Kmart again this morning and bought some new toothbrushes. I know that is not too exciting but our mouths will know the difference!
Gary had already put the slideouts in by time I got back from the store. I was hoping to show you how wide our campsite was!!!The air was clear and sunny as we started our drive to Tombstone. Did you notice that the picture doesn't have as many bug splatters in it?
I now know where to find Gary if I ever lose him!
There is a lot of reflection in the window but I was trying to take a picture of the ghost town of Stein. We realized too late that we should have taken the offramp so we could go see it. It's kind of hard to do last minute turns with a big rig.
The class B parked at the Arizona sign was the Canadian couple that had stayed next to us last night. We passed each other several times today as they would stop for something and then catch up with us again. The last time they passed they honked!
I know you already saw an Arizona sign but this one is different as it is celebrating Arizona's Centennial. New Mexico is celebrating their centennial this year also.
A little bit of change in scenery happened as we were coming upon Willcox, AZ. Most of the day had been spent on flat terrain.
We are staying at Tombstone Territorial RV Park which is only about 10 miles from the historic town. I am sitting at the table in our site as I take this picture. The park is a very nice park with each site measuring 40 by 80 feet. Most of the people here have come from the north to spend the winter months in a warmer climate.
We are at the end of the row so we have a lot of space around us. It feels really relaxing already!
One of the campers went driving by with his Scottie dog on the back of his bike. I don't know if you can see it very well but the dog has his own goggles on and according to his owner just loves to go for a ride!
I was going to try to take a picture of the sunset ----- this one was too early and .....
This one was too late! Oh well, we will have a few more evenings to catch it!
We will try to pay bills tonight (exciting) and I just have to beat Gary in a game of cribbage! Hope all is well with everyone. We feel really blessed at this time.
