Heat in the morning - laundry! Someone had to do it! Gary went out to fill our truck with gas and get it washed - a tow car always gets the dust. He stopped by Mark & Heather's to drop off some milk and juice and came back to camp with little Miss Melah! She was quite hesitant at first, but soon warmed up to us and being away from Mommy. Melah even helped do the laundry.
We took her out to Del Taco before going back to her house. Isn't her wrinkled up nose cute? After spending some time back at the house (with all 7 children ....aaaaach!) I don't know how Heather and Mark can put up with all the kids on their days off. I am sure they will be glad when they can move out of the area and Heather can stay home with only their children.
As soon as the other 4 children were gone we went back to our camp for a swim in the pool. The kids explored the motorhome while everyone got dressed for the pool.
Since Heathers' two neighbor teens came with us, I didn't go in the pool but stood by to watch and take pictures! Ashley is on the left and Heather is on the right, holding Vera.
Jett and Vera were fearless in the water but Melah just wanted to sit and splash her feet.

The girls and Heather kept busy playing with the kids - and Heather had to keep watch for the two teens as they wanted to dunk her!
Melah finally went in with Mommy, but looked petrified most of the time.
In the end they all grabbed on for the last few minutes in the pool. A little drying by the side of the pool, a walk back to the RV to change clothes and the cooldown was complete. One hot day down - only a summerful left to go!
