No Pictures Today : ( & some odds and ends

Today both Gary and I were kept busy! Gary and Mark worked on the Jeep while I took care of the kids. Heather had to work today - too bad. But, Mark had today off, which was good. Having opposite days off is about the only way they can make things work right now. On the days they both work the kids are taken care of by Corinn, and on the days Corinn and her husband both work Mark and/or Heather take care of their 4 kids. Any way you look at it it is a trying situation.
Anyway, today there were only Mark and Heather's kids so it was nice to be with them.
Unfortunately for Mark and Gary, the transmission they had as a replacement was not the correct one. They did get the old transmission out and changed the oil pan and then went to check on another transmission. Mark will have to have his old transmission rebuilt - that will take 3 days - so Gary will not be able to help him put it in. The transmission Mark had bought will need to be resold, probably at a loss. Too bad on both counts. Mark will need to find someone else to help finish the job.
We left after saying goodbye to everyone. I don't know when we will be coming back down. We really hope Mark will get the job in Hershey. If so, we will try to help them make their move - it mostly hangs on WHEN the move needs to be made. June is tied up until the 22nd with our commitment for the TREK at church and NASCAR with Heather and Jason. In July we have a week at Lake Tahoe planned (23rd-30th) with 5 families. I guess we will have to be flexible - and not worry at this point.
I almost forgot something - we had our front window fixed today. We had a large stone thrown by a passing truck while in Colorado. Because our campground is so large there are many services available by local businesses and window repair is one of them. The good news is that our insurance will pay for most of it. Yeah!
Another forgotten entry is from last night. Our neighbor in the campground had an accident where the bottom of a box broke open and dropped 2 dozen glass bottles on the ground. Of course, many broke and one of them bounced up and left a huge gash on his leg. I was the EMT for the job and wrapped his leg with a sterile pad and gauze up so that his wife could take him to the emergency room. He ended up getting 10 stitches. I'm glad we keep emergency supplies in our RV.
Enough rambling. Tomorrow we have our last day of travel ... we'll be sleeping at home tomorrow night. I hope I can sleep tonight!
