We've been blessed by safe travel

Today was no exception. The weather was wet/foggy/rainy for the first few hours of travel.
We started off the day in Temple, OK after a nice visit with Nancy. The road through the farmlands was interesting and Gary didn't mind driving on the country roads. We soon found ourselves going across the Red River into Texas and joining Highway 287 again. Tonight the same pathway we had taken was under severe weather warnings of straight winds, hail and possible tornadoes. People have always commented about the earthquakes in California - I think I prefer that over the constant worry about severe weather in the south and midwest.

Apollo has settled down quite a bit during our travels. Today he started a new habit - I don't know if I will let him continue ...

maybe I just need to get out a sheet to cover the sofa.

We are back in Amarillo tonight, staying at the same RV park we did after we left the rally. We knew we could do our laundry for free and get good TV reception - The Biggest Loser Finale was on tonight and we have followed it all season. And the winner is .......
did you watch?

Just a short post tonight. We will be heading for Colorado in the morning. If all goes well we will camp at a state park in Pueblo for two nights. It will be great to let Apollo swim in the lake!
We hope to continue our safe travel.
