We were a little delayed in taking off this morning as we had a few leaks in our water systems – the water heater had a piece that broke because of the cold weather we had and the line to our water and ice unit in the refrigerator had also broken. Gary turned off the water to the refrigerator and will repair it later. The piece for the water heater he replaced after buying a new one at the RV Repair business in Moundhouse.
Off to the fuel station to fill up with diesel and we were on our way by noon.

Gary seemed to enjoy being behind the wheel again. We traveled 95A to Mina, NV then took hwy 360 to hwy 6 which comes out on Hwy 395 at Bishop, CA. Its a nice quiet road and this route only has only one summit to travel over compared to many summits if we would have taken 395 all the way.
Once we had settled in at the rest stop Gary got to work hooking up his ham radio equipment in the RV.

It may not be the fanciest way to travel but it beats paying money for a campsite when you come in after dark and leave first thing in the morning!
