Every day our itinerary and any special announcements were posted in the window of our Wagon-masters' RV.
Some people just came by and took a snapshot of the information and had it with them all the time! This is the only time I took a picture but thought it would be a good idea of how we could communicate to 90 people! We had the morning off but gathered together at noon for a pizza lunch and costume making. One of our Canadian RVers had a great idea of how to use some of the beads he collected.
Gary and I were honored for celebrating our anniversary and given a card and "mini" cakes from the staff.
The staff was ready to show us the costumes we would be creating. They had each put on a sheet then turned their backs to us while they put on their signs.
Can you believe they found 90 ways to write an expression using "sheet" instead of its closely pronounced word?
Everyone was given an expression to use as well as a sheet and everything we needed to make our own costume.
As you can tell we did our best to get in to the spirit!!
Everyone seemed to have fun putting together their Mardi Gras costume and each added their own special twist to itl It is amazing how effective it is to have 90 people wearing sheets walking around New Orleans --- we were to find out on Tuesday.
Gary and I went out of the campground Monday evening and did a few errands locally before we sat down to a nice dinner at Outback Steakhouse to celebrate our 41st anniversary. We each had a rib eye steak and they were great! We tried to get some sleep before our great "Fat Tuesday" activities for the coming day.
