The first stop was the oldest church in the US.
The oldest house in the US was around the corner from the church. It wasn't open so we just looked from the outside. It was interesting to see the two door sizes. We also saw the different size doors in the restaurant where we ate lunc
A few streets away was the church with the spiral staircase. It 's famous for the staircase because it had no supports and was made with no nails.
As we headed home we stopped at the "Jackalope" trading post. It was about 5 acres but we only looked at the first "store." Of course, we bought a couple gifts then left for Albuquerque. A headwind greeted us as we drove past many pueblos, each with its own casino - sorry, Dad!
