Would you believe snow? (4/17)

Today I was supposed to go up in a balloon, but the trip was cancelled due to weather. During the day we had wind, rain, sleet and snow. Wow! We tried the busses again - getting there is not a problem. Gary left the rally early to get a new braking system put on the RV and car. (Not planned, but the old system was shorting out our brake lights every time we used it - not good). Seminars for the day included "Braking Systems" and "Microwave-Convection Cooking" with time for checking out indoor exhibits (bought waterless cleaner and new braking system) as well as RV Publications Day. We got a few free hats, bought an updated RV camping guide, outdoor cookbook and picked up a few free magazines. No luck on any drawings. My bus ride home would have been a disaster - the line was at least 1.5 hours long - thank goodness another couple offered me a ride back in their car!
Neil Sedaka was the entertainment for the evening and he was great! The tent was cold and the seats were cramped, but the program was wonderful. Neil Sedaka was very personable and truly enjoyed what he was doing so he kept the audience alive and excited.
